Godspeed was once fueled by lies. Now it is ruled by chaos.
It’s been three months since Amy was unplugged. The life she always knew is over. Everywhere she looks, she sees the walls of the spaceshipGodspeed.
But there may be hope: Elder has assumed leadership of the ship. He’s finally free to act on his vision—no more Phydus, no more lies.
But when Elder learns shocking news about the ship, he and Amy race to discover the truth behind life on Godspeed. They must work together to unlock a mystery that was set in motion hundreds of years earlier. Their success—or failure—will determine the fate of the 2,298 passengers aboard Godspeed. But with each step, the journey becomes more perilous, the ship more chaotic, and the love between them more impossible to fight.
Beth Revis catapulted readers into the far reaches of space with her New York Times bestselling debut, Across the Universe. In A Million Suns, Beth deepens the mystery with action, suspense, romance, and deep philosophical questions. And this time it all builds to one mind-bending conclusion: They have to get off this ship.
AMAZING SEQUEL!!! SO MUCH STUFF HAPPENED!!!! (May end up being a fangirl review, so you’ve been warned).
WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS FROM ACROSS THE UNIVERSE; YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!
Eldest is dead and now Elder is the leader. The people aboard Godspeed aren’t on Phydus anymore meaning they are free to do and say as they please. Well, some people aren’t okay with Elder being leader. Riots have started, people are dying, people aren’t working and Godspeed is falling apart. Will they make it to the new Earth or will everyone die on Godspeed?
Seriously, I can’t stress enough how amazing A Million Suns was. I’m obsessing over this trilogy right now. This was so fast paced and impossible to put down (I feel like I say this often now). But it’s true. This does end in a cliff hanger and it’s driving me crazy not knowing what is going to happen, but I have faith that I am going to really like the ending! I AM DYING TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS NEXT! That cliff hanger was seriously hard on me… I can’t handle it. That was a big cliff hanger….
You don’t know who to trust and you don’t know who is all doing the killing on Godspeed. It’s like every time they think it’s going to be okay, someone turns up dead. JUST SO GOOD! I feel bad for Elder honestly, since he has become leader, everyone is taking it all out on him. Everyone is rebelling against him because no one knows if they will make it to the new Earth or not. I felt bad for Victria, I just wanted to give her a hug and tell her everything was going to be okay. Sometimes Amy got on my nerves, I felt that at times she was just whinny. She is constantly wondering when she can unfreeze her parents. I mean I understand, it’s your parents. Going from having your parents always around, to being unfrozen and them still frozen. I understand that, but man did that bother me at times.
