There are two sides to every love story. Now hear Will’s.

Colleen Hoover’s New York Times bestselling Slammed series has brought countless readers to their knees with a whirlwind of love, passion, and heartache.

Layken and Will’s love has managed to withstand the toughest of circumstances and the young lovers, now married, are beginning to feel safe and secure in their union. As much as Layken relishes their new life together, she finds herself wanting to know everything there is to know about her husband, even though Will makes it clear he prefers to keep the painful memories of the past where they belong. Still, he can’t resist his wife’s pleas and so he begins to untangle his side of the story, revealing for the first time his most intimate feelings and thoughts, retelling both the good and bad moments, and sharing a few shocking confessions of his own from the time when they first met.

In This Girl, Will tells the story of their complicated relationship from his point of view. Their future rests on how well they deal with the past in this final installment of the beloved Slammed series.

what i thought

Okay, seriously Colleen Hoover. This. Just. Too. Much. Feels. This entire trilogy has been an emotional rollercoaster! One minute your sobbing next your laughing your butt off. Though I will admit that because this is also set only in Will’s point of view as the last one was, I was a little disappointed. I expected Lake’s point of view or at least duel. Sadly it didn’t happen. But it didn’t affect my overall feelings towards this book. I still adored it to pieces and loved it nonetheless. I was just expecting Lake’s POV considering the ending of the sequel.

Seriously, I have become so so attached to all the characters and even like 3 months later, I still am incredibly attached. I’m sure it’ll be that way for a very long time. I CANNOT stress the enough… Colleen Hoover is a gifted writer. This lady can write like it’s nobody’s business!! This ended perfectly and being the absolute Fangirl I am, I always want more to the characters especially if I’m attached this much. I am still having a hard time saying goodbye to these characters…

If you have yet to pick this up yet (and of course are of age to read this trilogy) I HIGHLY recommend you do it ASAP! You’ll most likely fall in love like I did!

“You want to know my sweet?” I ask her.

She nods.

I kiss her on the forehead. “You. Always you.” ― Colleen Hoover, This Girl

“Sometimes two people need to fall apart to realize how much they need to fall back together.”

I take her hand and rest it between us, then stroke the back of it with my thumb. “Let’s not fall apart again,” I whisper. She looks me in the eyes. “Never.”– page 12-13
