Ever since the dawn of days, rumors about the Diary of Lucifer echoed throughout Elysium. Hidden from all human knowledge, the Diary was kept a secret, locked away in the small village of Agalmath.

Isaac and Demetre find themselves in a dangerous journey as they uncover the truth about the Diary and its guardians. However, for Isaac and Demetre, danger lies at every step, hidden in the most unexpected places.

Hunted by the Nephilins and the Fallen Stars, they must find others who will join them in the battle against the coming darkness.

what i thought

Fantasy is one of those genres that I’m still not that familiar with. You definitely have to be in the mood for fantasy and to be honest, it doesn’t happen very often for me. J.D. Netto contacted me about 7 months ago asking if I’d like to review them. After seeing Sasha (Booktuber) rave about the books, I knew I needed to give it a shot. I’m surprised at how amazing this was! I had originally started reading it in February only to make it through a couple chapters to be put back down due to school.

One of my absolute favorite genres is paranormal which this is part of. J.D. Netto is definitely a talented writer. I had such a difficult time putting down the books because I was so immersed in this world. I immediately started the second book after finishing this one. Most peoples problems with fantasy is the world building. He does such an amazing job at vividly painting this world into our heads that I felt as if I was watching a movie. The plot line was so fast paced and nothing ever slowed down. Just when you thought Issac and his crew were going to catch a break, another obstacle was thrown their way.

This was such a great book and I recommend to fantasy fans. Or even those who liked fantasy with a touch of paranormal!
