Cover Reveal: Belong by Jennifer Foor

Ten years ago I fell in love with a married woman. I walked

away so she could be happy, moving across the country to make sure I put space

between us. We severed ties, and I promised myself I wouldn’t look back.

Since then I committed to someone else, and we have a child

and a life many would wish for. Except, it’s never been enough for me. There’s

always been something missing; something I never wanted to admit.

With my own marriage failing, I’m forced to go back to my

hometown to bury the man who raised me. I never expected to see her there, and

nothing could prepare me for what would happen the moment my arms wrapped

around hers again.

“You have every right to assume this can’t be anything more than a temporary affair. I don’t blame you for being cautious, but there is something I want you to know.”

She turned around, finally looking right at me with those hesitant eyes. “What?”

“I still love you.” I swallowed the lump in my throat as the words came out, silently praying she wouldn’t force me to leave. It wasn’t every day that I told someone other than my wife I loved them, but in this instance it was the truest statement I’d ever made. “I feel like I’ve loved you for a lifetime. It’s true. I have loved my wife, but it’s not the same. It’s always been you, Rach. You’re the only woman I know I’ll never be able to let go of. Staying away was my only option. I did it to protect both of our lives, but there’s nothing standing in the way anymore. Please don’t deny us a second chance.” I paused one more time. “I need you, just as much as I think you need me.”

Her shoulders relaxed, and I watched her purse fall from her grip and hit the concrete ground. She shrugged while staring into my eyes. Her lips were trembling, allowing me to almost sense the connection between us. “I’m not strong enough to be with you again. I can’t handle anymore heartache. Being close to you scares me, because I’m tired of the pain and suffering.”

I took two steps forward, breaking the distance between us. “I’m not capable of hurting you again, Rach. If you give me this chance I promise I won’t let you down. Let me be your friend again, and whatever comes with it will be determined by both of us.”

I am finally free.
This is my chance for a fresh start.
My chance to live the way I want to.
Boston is my destination.

Just when I think things are going to get better from here, I meet him.

Malcolm Davis.

He is the image of masculinity, with rough edges I would love to soften. Although I wonder what it would be like to be with a man like him, I know it would never work. But, I do know two things, ever since I met him, I’m happy and he makes me feel safe. Both of those things lured me into taking a chance. I mean what’s life without taking any chances? It’s not much of a life without the risk of getting your heart broken.

I imagine that for Malcolm Davis, falling in love with someone would be akin to a hurricane; anything that stands in the path of what he wants; gets demolished.

Well, I guess my theory will be put to the test.

what i thoughtLove, love, LOVED this book! I usually never read synopsis’ anymore. If I do, I usually forget it by the time I start the book. This book was not what I expected it to be. I had a feeling something happened to one of the characters, but not like this. But all good things – I adored this book and I could not put it down.

Callie has fallen into a depression after a fatal car accident that took the life of her fiance. Grieve stricken, but determined to continue on with her life, her parents force her to follow through with her therapy. After receiving the “O.K.” from her therapist, she packs her things and moves to Chicago to pursue her dream of going to university there. She is staying with Sierra and her boyfriend. She is then introduced to the drop dead, panty dropping, Mac. In Chicago, he is very well known; all the ladies know of him and know how he is in bed. Not only does Callie have a rough past, Mac also has one. In and out of the foster system, he was finally adopted to a loving family at 16 years old. But that’s not all, he’s lost someone very close to him in a tragic way as well. Lives for these two haven’t been easy to say the least…

Callie and Mac were the cutest, yet most frustrating couple. I wanted to strangle the two of them for a long time! Their chemistry even at the beginning is (at least I think) the kind of love everyone wants. Mac was seriously just drop dead sexy. Dear lord, I highlighted this book like CRAZY!

This being T.E.’s debut, I’m blown away with her writing. You’d think she’s been a writer a long time and has a bunch of books published… Nope. This is her first and I know in time, her books are only going to get even better. She has become a favorite author of mine even with just reading one book.

Can’t praise this book enough- I WILL own a paperback very soon to add to my shelves! Highly recommended! But take into consideration the emotional toll this will take on you- it’s not a light read. But, oh was the heart break totally worth it!

A new adult novel from Entangled’s Embrace imprint…

Three knocks can change everything…

“She knew. That’s why Mom hadn’t opened the door. She knew he was dead.”

Twenty years as an army brat and Ember Howard knew, too. The soldiers at the door meant her dad was never coming home. What she didn’t know was how she would find the strength to singlehandedly care for her crumbling family when her mom falls apart.

Then Josh Walker enters her life. Hockey star, her new next-door neighbor, and not to mention the most delicious hands that insist on saving her over and over again. He has a way of erasing the pain with a single look, a single touch. As much as she wants to turn off her feelings and endure the heartache on her own, she can’t deny their intense attraction.

Until Josh’s secret shatters their world. And Ember must decide if he’s worth the risk that comes with loving a man who could strip her bare.

what i thoughtWow… This book took me completely by surprise. I was not expecting to love it this much and to this magnitude. Easily one of my top reads of the year! Josh Walker completely and totally owns my heart (but shares with other B.F.F.’s) ;)

December’s father is apart of the military and they haven’t heard from him in a while. That is until, they get the dreaded knock on the door to say that their father is not coming home. Stricken by grief, Ember’s mom has gone blank. She doesn’t speak, doesn’t move, doesn’t react at all. With their mother currently “out of the picture”, Ember moves back home to care for her siblings. Josh, who Ember has had a crush on for a long time, comes into the picture saving her from complete and total grief. But, this should be the job of her boyfriend, Riley… Josh and Ember start to get closer and closer the more they run into each other. Situations thrown at them that can’t be more than coincidental.

Let me quickly say that I LOVE the names chosen. December, April and August (Gus)… LOVED IT! Okay, let’s just say that everything about this book was perfection! I bawled my eyes in the ending and laughed at many parts. This book is a complete roller coaster complete with the 360’s, upside downs and everything in between. There is nothing bad to say about anything about the story or the author. I have completely fell in love with her writing, these characters and their story. I’m excited yet nervous to read the next two… I have fallen hard for Josh and I worry the other two won’t live up to that. But, I hear Grayson in the 3rd does for sure. ;)

HIGHLY recommended if you haven’t already read this!

My Reading Stack (#17)

reading stackHey guys! So I’ve had a pretty good reading week since my math class that was on the weekends ended. :) I finished 3 books and started another which I’m hoping to finish today. So let’s get started.

What I Finished:

full measures finding a way love always

  • Full Measures by Rebecca Yarros: All time favorite for the year! I tried to contain my crying at the end and I tried VERY hard. This book was perfection! Josh Walker is literally perfection in itself. He literally has a big chunk of my heart. He IS the perfect man! Words CANNOT describe my love for him! This story was absolute perfection! I’m at a loss for words at the moment- I LITERALLY just finished the book. More thoughts will be on my full review soon. Easily a top favorite book of the year! I’m excited, yet very nervous to continue with this series! Josh has become one of my TOP book boyfriends! Love this book to pieces!!!
    • FINAL STAR RATING: ☆☆☆☆☆
  • Finding A Way by T.E. Black: love, love, LOVED this book! I usually never read synopsis’ anymore. If I do, I usually forget it by the time I start the book. This book was not what I expected it to be. I had a feeling something happened to one of the characters, but not like this. But all good things – I adored this book and I could not put it down. Had I not had to work yesterday along with homework and classes, I would have finished it yesterday! I’ll have more thoughts on my full review along with teasers!
    • FINAL STAR RATING: ☆☆☆☆☆
  • Love Always by Yessi Smith: Really enjoyed this! Very emotional and a crazy roller coaster for sure, but loved how it paned out. I wish for more in the end, I was confused at first because I wasn’t sure what was going on. I would have liked to see an epilogue from Dee or Adam’s point of view. But woah, this book was awesome! I loved Dee’s friends she made- I died laughing in several spots; toilet seat killed me! Why this isn’t 5 stars is because I felt the pacing was a little fast for me, but overall I’m VERY happy with the events that turned out. I’m excited to read more of Yessi’s books! more to come in a full review soon!

All 3 of these books will have full reviews up later this week if you want to see more of my thoughts. Teasers will be also posted after my reviews if you want to see some of those as well! Usually I try and post all teasers I make onto an Instagram account that I co-host with a friend- @just2bibliomaniacs.

What I’m Currently Reading:

vintage vol 1

This is the book I’m currently reading and hope to finish today as well. But, we will see! I do have a lot to do today and it’s already 1pm. :)

What’s Up Next To Read:

DorothyMustDie_CoverOnly1.indd a special connection forever changed

These are my next 3 I need to read. Dorothy Must Die is for a book club I’m apart of and it’s one of the 2 reads of the month. Sadly, because of time and my review pile, I didn’t get to read the first book which was a Stephen King book. :( I hope to finish all 3 of these and read more than just these, but we will see!

My Papai always said wine made everything better. Countless

times he uttered those familiar words to me— “The Merlot will melt your

problems away meu amor. With a good bottle of wine in your hand, you hold the

magical key to anything you want.”

I believed my father whole heartily, until my world came

crashing down on me at twenty-four years old.

It wasn’t going to take wine to help Brody and I find our

way back to one another. It was going to take fighting … not only for our love—

But for my life.

Kelly Elliott is married to a wonderful Texas cowboy who has

a knack for making her laugh almost daily and supports her crazy ideas and

dreams for some unknown reason…he claims it’s because he loves her!

She’s also a mom to an amazing daughter who is constantly asking for something to eat while her fingers move like mad on her cell phone sending out what is sure to be another very important text message.

In her spare time she loves to sit in her small corner

overlooking the Texas hill country and write.

One of her favorite things to do is go for hikes around her

property with Gus….her chocolate lab and the other man in her life, and Rose,

her golden retriever. When Kelly is not outside helping the hubby haul brush,

move rocks or whatever fun chore he has in store for her that day, you’ll find

When she was a child, Avery Harmen watched her father die at the hands of a Glower–a breed of demon that feeds on dreams of fame and glory. Now she secretly protects the rising stars of Los Angeles from the demons that prey on them, determined to make sure her clients never suffer the same fate.

Then Avery finds herself assigned to Colin Ryder, a young indie rocker who just landed a major label deal. Colin is cocky, rebellious, a brilliant musician, and already in the Glowers’ sights. He’s also far too hot for Avery to ignore the chemistry between them–especially when she gets to know the tender side behind his celebrity facade. Though Avery knows she’s falling too fast, she’s willing to risk heartbreak if fanning the flames of attraction distracts Colin from his Glower-tempting antics. But Colin is keeping a secret of his own, one so big it will put both her heart and his soul on the line.

The first book in The Glower Chronicles, a steamy New Adult paranormal series.

Each book in The Glower Chronicles contains a stand-alone romance, but it is recommended that you read them in order to best appreciate the ongoing subplots.

what i thoughtI received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review from the author. It does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! When the author contacted me about her book and told me it was new adult romance with a paranormal element, I was all in. I’m not that familiar with new adult paranormal; only YA. YA paranormal is one of my all time favorite genres and I have Twilight to thank for that. This was a great paranormal read! Demon-like creatures who suck your passion out of you? COUNT ME IN!

Avery watched her dad die and as you guessed, by a Glower. Now sworn to destroy the things that killed her father, she secretly helps protect famous musicians from having the same fate as her dad. She is currently to protect Colin Ryder. She knows all too well who Colin Ryder is. She went to school with him at one point, but not that he would notice. He has a thing for the ladies and he makes that very clear to Avery when she comes to protect him. He has a bad temper and it doesn’t take much for him to be set off. But neither of the 2 can ignore the chemistry building between the 2.

I’m a hardcore romance addict- that much is true. So it is without a doubt I LOVEDDD the romance between Colin and Avery. I love my bad-boy/rocker types and Colin was just that. I loved his character! Avery’s as well; though at times I just wanted to slap her for taking SOO long. But what can a girl do? ;)

My only issue was the building on these Glowers. I understand what they are and what they do, but I felt they were neglected and not enough was put into this element. I felt I didn’t understand enough of these creatures and how they are built into this urban reality. The overall description of these creatures is beyond awesome in my eyes. I’m a sucker for paranormal and these creatures are the perfect image of paranormal. They are very interesting characters; being able to suck the passion and drive out of a person.

I loved this book- I’m excited to see what happens next and who the story will follow next! I recommend to fans of paranormal and those bridging into new adult from young adult. Though, I would wait if your not used to sex scenes and that type of scene. Wait until you’ve had a couple “introductory” books then come to this one. :)

Release Day Launch RIP by Rachel Van Dyken

Rachel Van Dyken brings you Rip a complete stand alone novel that fans of the Eagle Elite series will devour! With twists and turns you won’t see coming, this dark romantic suspense will keep you on your toes and leave you screaming for more.

Pretty things aren’t meant to be broken.

But I broke her, and now we both have to pay the price.

I’m her nightmare.

I’m her savior.

And now that I have her signature on an ironclad contract, I

own her body and soul.

She doesn’t remember me.

She will.

It’s inevitable.

Because as much as I know I need to stay away, for fear of

unlocking the memories I helped her father bury–I can’t.

She was the apple in the Garden, dangled in front of me, her

core so tempting and sweet. A voice whispered. Just. One. Bite.

I bit.

I tasted.

I fell.

Welcome to the world of the Russian mafia, where death, is your only future.

“So.” She plopped into the seat next to me and crossed her long legs. I fought hard to pull my eyes away. “Catch me up, what exactly are we doing in Chicago.”

I opened a folder and slid it across the table. “We are doing nothing. I, however, am making a speech at…a church.”

I didn’t miss her snort, or the way she tried to hide her amusement.

“Something funny?”

“Yeah.” She nodded. “In church.”

“Where did this attitude come from?”

“You kissed me.” Her eyes narrowed as she leaned back into her seat, not missing a beat as she let her gaze wander across my body like a caress. I’d be lying if I said it didn’t feel good, to be desired, wanted, and it was a welcome distraction from the pit in my stomach. I really, really didn’t want to go to Chicago.

“You kissed me back,” I retorted.
“Doesn’t matter, you still kissed me. The line between beast and his little toy has been crossed, therefore I kind of own you like you own me, just in a more…irritating way. I have your balls in a vise.”

“Let’s leave my balls out of the speech if you don’t mind,” I said ignoring her little ploy to get under my skin again.

“Hey.” Her grin spread smugly across her pretty face. “It may just inspire the crap out of them, you never know.”

This was a conversation that Andi would have loved, in fact, the more Maya talked the more I saw Andi in her, which just made it that much worse. Here Maya thought I was going to Chicago to slap hands with rich doctors and make speeches, when really, I was going because I made a promise, to a dying girl.

Just one more girl, I’d failed to save.

“Let’s leave all references to body parts out of my speech, hmm?”

“I’ll try.”

“I am the boss.”

“So you are.”

“I’ve created a monster. Had I known feeding you would gain this response I would have tied you up in the basement with a protein bar and some Gatorade.”

“It’s not your fault. It’s Netflix. Orange is the New Black combined with the nightmares…” She yawned and it was then that I noticed how tired she looked.

I shifted uncomfortably in my seat wanting to press things further, what kind of nightmares had she been having?

“I haven’t been sleeping much. Then again I blame you for keeping me from technology for so long.”

“Which brings us back full circle. I should have never given you such privileges.” My voice came out in a bark.

“It’s a right, not a privilege,” she snapped.

“So this…” What the hell was it? A eulogy? Not really, that was Sergio, but he’d asked me to say a few words. Shit. I struggled with how to ask, I didn’t know the first thing about being at a funeral, I put people in the casket, I didn’t visit them after they took their last breath. My eyes stung with exhaustion. “I need you to help me write it.”

“Wait…” She visibly paled. “What did you say?”

“Write.” I nodded encouragingly, my anger surging, breaking through all of my carefully constructed walls. Anger had no place in my business, in my life, and anger toward her, did nothing but put her in danger. “You know, words on a paper, you put them down, I say them.”

“Don’t be an ass.”

“Maya…” I tsked. “I am what I am.”

“Put that in your speech.”

“Maya.” I grit my teeth together to keep myself from snapping at her. “I need a speech, something…encouraging, inspirational, happy.”

Maya pulled out her laptop and opened it up. “Inspirational…I can do inspirational. When was the last time I was inspired…?” Her cheeks bloomed red.

“What was that?” I breathed, my eyes lowering to the expanse of cleavage, it was a welcome distraction from my morose and jumbled thoughts. “Didn’t catch what you just said.”

“I, uh, didn’t say anything.” She nervously tucked a piece of hair behind her ear, her cheeks pinkening even further.

“Your mouth didn’t…your face did.”

“Let’s not talk about my mouth…”

“Why?” I leaned in. “Does it inspire you too much?”

“Ass!” she hissed.

“I think you’re on to something…” I chuckled, bracing my hands on the armrests. Six inches, and our mouths would touch. I wasn’t just toying with breaking the contract, I was ripping it up, burning it. Just as our mouths were about to touch, I paused, lingering where our breaths mingled, hers warm on my lips, mine ragged and needy. I was right about one thing; she would be a welcome distraction, one that wouldn’t allow me to feel sad, or bothered by the fact that I was flying to a friend’s funeral.

And that history, if I wasn’t careful could repeat itself.

She moved, dislodging her water bottle. It landed with a soft thump on the floor.

I reared back and stared at it.

What the hell was I doing?

And as luck would have it, the water droplets had cascaded against my left hand, my tattoo—the mark of the sickle, the mark that would tell anyone who knew anything about the darker side of life.

What I did.

Who I worked for.

What I was capable of.

What I would do—to protect not just my own identity but those closest to me.

My phone rang.

I reached down to silence it—ready to silence it, when I noted the number. Cringing, I answered it with a smooth hello.

“You know I have eyes everywhere.”

“Good afternoon to you, too.”

Maya pretended not to eavesdrop.

The last thing she needed to know was that I was talking to her father—correction, receiving another threat.

This one not so baseless as the rest.

“Tell me something I don’t know,” I said, waiting for his response.

“She’s been touched.”

I rolled my eyes. “You sure about that?”

The line crackled.

“She flushes when you’re near.”

“Most women do.”

“Cocky son of a bitch.” He chuckled. “Remember the terms of our agreement, Nikolai, I scratch your back, you scratch mine. She means nothing to me. You are the one who has everything to lose. You’ve developed a god complex, but I know all your secrets. It would take nothing for me to destroy you. You signed in blood. And it will be your blood that is spilled if you go back on your promise.”

My nostrils flared, heat surged through my body as I watched Maya happily pull out a magazine and cross her legs. Damn it, he was right. What the hell was I doing?

My lack of self control would end up getting her killed.

I knew that just as much as he did.

I was stuck.

And he knew it. Part of me wondered if he was aware that I’d developed a conscience—then again, I’d stopped working directly with him long ago, but it didn’t mean I wasn’t still owned.

“We’ll be in touch.” The phone went dead.

Damn Russian mafia.

And damn me for being one of the best. I didn’t get the nickname The Doctor because I had a good bedside manner.

And I wondered, as I tried not to stare too hard at Maya while she read through her magazine, would she still be alive if I hadn’t have taken the job that changed everything?

Had I damn her, then?

Had I truly saved her?

I let out a low growl of frustration; clenching my phone in my hand, ready to break it in half. I wanted so desperately to protect her from Andi’s fate, but would it be better that she died?

My body tensed.

Would I be extending her mercy, by snuffing out her life?

Maya frowned down at the magazine, her eyebrows furrowed as the plane rose to altitude.

I didn’t shake, didn’t so much as tremble. I was a doctor, after all, and whenever I made a decision of life and death, I was calm. Humanity didn’t slip through. I didn’t have a come –to-Jesus moment, where I wondered if what I was doing would sentence me to the darkest depths of hell.

It was…clarity.

The only way I could explain it.

“Something else to drink?” I asked Maya while she popped her knuckles again. Shit, twice in a few minutes? Was there something about the plane? Or my conversation?

“Wine.” She said quickly. “If you have it.”

I nodded, already walking to the bar. I glanced to my left to make sure she wasn’t watching me, then reached into the cupboard and pulled out a syringe of sodium pentothal. It wouldn’t harm her. If anything, it would relax her more, make it so that I would be able to hold a conversation with her…without her remembering a damn thing, though the dosage needed to be precise. The last thing I needed was for her to end up unconscious.

“What time is it?” I asked while I poured the wine, keeping the small syringe in my right hand.

“Oh.” Maya yawned then glanced at her watch. “It’s nearing four in the afternoon, why?”

“Just thinking about our dinner plans,” I lied. Two and a half hours since she’d last eaten. I mentally went over her stats, weight one-forty, height five seven. She’d need a half dose at the most.

Clearing my throat, I turned, sliding the syringe into the top of my sleeve and bringing over the two glasses of wine; hers was more full.

“Wow, generous in all areas aren’t you, Nikolai?” Maya eyed the wine glass and took a long sip.

“Drink it all,” I instructed with a half smile. “Doctor’s orders.”

“All of it?” She laughed lifting the glass into the air. “This is at least two glasses.”

“At least half,” I said in a more gentle tone. “You seem stressed, and I know…I’m not the easiest to travel with.”

Maya blinked then took another sip of wine. “No, you think?”

“It’s a…” I coughed into my hand letting the syringe slip out to the tips of my fingers. “It’s not you. It’s me.”

“Okay,” she said slowly, setting her wine down on the arm rest.

“Nope.” I offered a encouraging smile. “A few more sips, trust me, you’ll feel so much better.”

Maya rolled her eyes but drank deeply.

The alcohol would work beautifully with the sodium pentothal. Truth serums, didn’t necessarily work by themselves, they were used in conjunction with other tools and drugs, allowing the human mind to be open to suggestion.

But no human mind or body was the same, meaning, the outcome was always different.

If Maya had any sort of…secret she was keeping close, something she wanted to tell me, but couldn’t or refused to, it would most likely come out at some point in the next half hour.

If she were harboring memories, dark ones, ones that scared her, and I offered her a caring ear, she’d jump at it.

And I’d know.

If she was getting triggered and how.

It sounded sick.

But it was of the utmost importance that she be kept in the dark, especially since her father clearly was still keeping eyes on her.

I told myself that as she drank more wine.

Gabe’s life has been devastated in the wake of the economic crash. The only option left for someone like him to escape his tragic past is to leave his small town behind and to attempt to become a skiptracer. This already almost-impossible task is made all the more difficult by his first “score,”a young girl who won’t speak, but who changes his life in ways he could never imagine.

Sam didn’t think things could get worse at Thurmand rehabilitation camp. Then the Reds arrive. Everyone assumed the kids with firepower had been killed years ago. Instead they were taken away, brainwashed, and returned as terrifyingly effective guards. To her horror, Sam recognizes one of them: Lucas, the one spark of light in Sam’s dark childhood.

Lucas has a deadly secret–he beat the brutal training that turned his fellow Reds into mindless drones. When Sam defends herself against an attack by a vile PSF guard and faces a harrowing punishment, Lucas must risk everything to save her.

The government-run “rehabilitation camps” have been shut down, but kids with Psi powers are anything but free. Sam would rather be on her own than put in the care of a foster family and given the “cure”–a dangerous procedure that unclaimed kids across the country are being forced to undergo. But there’s more at stake than just her own safety. Sam once made someone a promise, and the time has come to fulfill it.

Now that she’s out of her camp, Mia only has one thought in her head: finding Lucas, her beloved older brother. She hasn’t seen him since they were separated and taken to different camps years ago, before Mia even became Psi. When Sam, Lucas’s childhood best friend, rescues Mia from the government’s inept care, Mia learns that nothing is as simple as she thought–and the past that she’s so desperate to salvage may not be possible to recover…

My Reading Stack (#16)

reading stackHey guys! I’m sorry for not posting last week! I had a test in my math class on Sunday so I was focused on that. Plus I didn’t read much because of it. This week hasn’t been any better. My final for the math class is today so I’ve been studying for that. I have only finished 2 books since I last posted..

What I Finished:

the hazards of a one night stand caught in the glow

  • The Hazards of a One Night Stand by Alyssa Rose Ivy: I think one of my favorite types of romance is the small town ones. I think it’s because I can relate (somewhat) most to them and living in small town as well. Mallory who is our main character in this, is a lot like myself. When I first started college I was DYING to get out the town I’m in now. (I did, but I don’t want to go into my personal life, but I’m back) I loved Mallory/Colt a lot more than Juliet/Reed. Again, it could possibly due to the fact that it’s a small town kind of romance.  Plus, it could also be a factor of the author’s writing improving. I was completely engrossed in this story! I know with the first, I could put it down at parts and be okay not to continue immediately. This wasn’t the case for the sequel! (Now, don’t take it the wrong way- I LOVED the first as well).
    • FINAL STAR RATING: ☆☆☆☆½
  • Caught in the Glow by Eva Chase: I loved how unique and original this was! I was excited when the author contacted me saying it was a supernatural/paranormal new adult book. I’ve only ventured the romance side of new adult, so to see something like paranormal thrown in was fantastic! my only problem was understanding the Glowers. I’m still confused about them… overall I really enjoyed this book! more thoughts/full review will be up on my blog in about a week or so. :)

What I Will Be Starting This Week:

full measures finding a way love always

I’m hoping to knock all 3 of these out this week. Especially with my math class ending today I’ll have more free time. If I do finish all 3, I have more review books. You’ll see next Sunday what books I will pick up if I do finish these 3. :)
